The Scratch Coding Workshop at the Fanwood Library was a tremendous success, bringing together 10 enthusiastic young learners for an engaging and interactive educational experience. Throughout the session, participants stepped into the role of aspiring programmers, using Scratch to design and build their own creative projects. They created interactive stories, games, and animations by snapping together color-coded blocks. The workshop encouraged curiosity, creativity, and collaboration while introducing students to fundamental coding principles in a fun and supportive environment.
By the end of the workshop, students had not only gained valuable technical skills but also developed greater confidence in their ability to create with technology. Most importantly, they enjoyed working alongside their peers, sharing ideas, and celebrating their accomplishments. The event was a rewarding experience for everyone involved and highlighted the power of hands-on learning to inspire the next generation of innovators.
