As we near the season of fright and delight, students will get into the holiday spirit by creating Halloween slime. Geared toward children aged 5-12, this event entails embarking on a scientific journey through the history of slime in which kids will learn how it was invented and how it became a fun household item. Additionally, they will learn how it is manufactured, and then they will apply this knowledge to create their own slime. Just as scientists do, they will experiment with different materials with varying quantities to understand how each component impacts the product. If this event seems like something you’d be interested in, feel free to come and check it out for yourself as it’s completely free!
